it begins...

hi there,

my name is sean.  let’s just start this whole thing off by saying two things; i’m a total foodie and i travel…a lot.

a pretty awesome combination if i do say so myself.  i get to jetset all around the world and lucky for me i get to explore the local food culture while I'm there…i have my limits, but i love to explore the local cuisine.  i’ve had the opportunity to eat basashi (horse sashimi) in yokohama, drink alt beer with my pork knuckle (i dig on the pig :) )in dusseldorf, scarf down not one but two gyros from a street car in manhattan (at 4:30am), and of course indulge on the best chicken wings of all time and an ice cold blue light in my hometown buffalo, new york (go bills!!).

so that all sounds pretty cool right? …heres the problem; i also love to cook and i want to learn how to cook a ton of new dishes.  But as you can imagine given my schedule, i don't have a lot of free time to stand in front of the burners to practice. now for those that don’t know me i’m a problem solver so i came up with an idea on how to nip this problem in the bud.

in order to put this problem to bed, i’ve decided to take a culinary journey and i thought i’d ask for your help to do just that. i’d like to ask you to submit your favorite recipe and every week i’ll pick one of my favorites, cook it for the first time, and share with all of you how it went in my #sundayeatfromtheair blog post.

i’ll be posting my first #sundayeatfromtheair on January 4th so submit your recipes before January 1, 2015 if you’d like to be my first post.  please submit all recipes to eatintheair@gmail.com

its going to be a great adventure and a great way to learn how to cook some amazing new food.  follow my blog and visit my social media below to check out my #sundayeatfromtheair and join the journey!

come on join in and follow along it’ll be great!

stay tuned
